Fátima's scrunchies are made in her Vienna studio using cotton-fibre fabric. Each one is cut, sewn, and finished individually. This hands-on process gives the accessory the character of a small textile creation rather than an anonymous mass-produced item.
As with other handmade pieces, slight differences in pattern placement can occur. That means the visible section of a floral or colourful motif may not be exactly the same on every scrunchie. These variations are a natural result of working with fabric by hand and help make each one feel personal.
